Numerical Methods for Nonlinear and Nonlocal Transient Phenomena

Organizers of this minisymposium are

In this minisymposium we gather researchers working on both the analysis and the numerics of different possibly nonlinear models, involving nonlocal terms in time or space. The models under consideration may include fractional derivatives, boundary integral formulations of wave problems or memory terms of Volterra convolution type. The scope is wide, including the theoretical analysis of some these problems, the study of the stability and convergence properties of different numerical methods for them and the design of efficient algorithms.
