The focus of this Minisymposium is the description of waves in waveguides. We include wave equations in the time-dependent form and in the time-harmonic form, all kinds of wave equations are of interest, among them the classical wave equation, the Helmholtz equation and the Maxwell equations. We want to cover the limiting behavior, the analysis of numerical schemes, the treatment of boundary conditions, and homogenization in this context.
