(In-)Stability, Dispersion and Weak Turbulence: From Fluid Flow to Hamiltonian Systems

Organizers of this minisymposium are

In the mathematical analysis of fluid flow, the propagation of waves of various types plays a central role in understanding hydrodynamic stability, the long-time behavior of solutions and the occurrence of weak turbulence.
The mini-symposium will focus on recent progress in dynamical aspects of Hamiltonian dispersive fluids and related limit equations, for instance solitary and quasi-periodic solutions as well as long-time behavior, complete integrability and energy cascades. We bring together speakers from diverse backgrounds to foster scientific exchange between different communities.
